First in Advent, one candle lit and a beautiful service on radio 4 from Edinburgh. 
An MOT is due for my car and because I bought it used from Howard Selby a year ago I thought I should have my first MOT at his garage, even though it's all the way to North Berwick. So off I set this morning to leave it with him.
I've been worrying for days trying to work out which lanes I should drive in to go from the Bypass onto the A1, I'd always done it from Donald's old abode before.
I hooked on to the Bypass and as I was driving along I suddenly thought to myself, 'why should I worry my pretty little head about which route I take, my life, my decisions and beautiful scenery if I drive to the Pencaitland road'. So I did of course.
Bonus was Fatface north berwick was open and I bought Donald a beautiful cotton top!!
