Santa Says "Hi!"

Today was our village's Frost Fayre. It's run by Friends of Greystoke Church to raise money for the structure of the building (as opposed to ministry and services).

We both went along to help but they didn't need us so I sent The Man home and told him to come back for his lunch. I stayed and chatted and moved the occasional used cup, saucer and plate towards the kitchen.

It drove me a bit crazy. I offered to help set up with my velvet table covers. I've had years of setting up prize-winning displays and it really annoys me to see tablecloths not reaching the floor and covering up boxes stored under tables. Or no cloth on at all. I like an event to have a uniform look.

No one answered my email about what time they were setting up! Should I take the hint?

Thanks so much for your kind concern about my eczema yesterday. I feel lucky when it lets me have a good night's sleep, like last night.
