drinks with lid are allowed

One of my friends from uni, who now works in Tokyo, stayed at Kanazawa over the weekend. We met up for the first time in two years and went to a coastal town in Ishikawa Prefecture to enjoy crab dish. 

The restaurant was packed with tourists and we had to wait in line for two hours! While waiting we went to a nearby museum about Kitamaebune (northern-bound ships), whose name was used for a shipping route as well as for the ships involved, that acted from the Edo period (the early 17-19 century) to the Meiji era (the 19 - 20 century). I found this set of signs in the museum.

The museum was great, and we then enjoyed crab!
