Advent

Now December so happy to allude to all things Christmas ( within reason)
Tim surprised Adele with this beautiful Advent beauty case all filled with goodies.

Remember the old advent calendars where we opened a window each day and saw a festive image? My children loved them.

Then came the ones with chocolates inside and today l see you can get an Advent calendar for just about anything: tools  jewellery , perfume, socks etc.
Where will it end ?

Had a lovely walk on the canal with Adele and Peggy.
A coffee boat was moored near the entry we used so we had a flat white and a cuppa tea on our return, happy to support such enterprise.

Roast dinner for nine later today looking forward to that.
