What have You been Up To?!

Hmm! A bit of digging I suspect. Yesterday was another busy day and of the sort where I am struggling to recall what, if anything I have achieved. I know that I cancelled my Pilates class because the double glazing people promised to pitch up at 0830 to sort our neighbour Margery's conservatory. almost needless to say, at 0836, they cancelled. I was irritated. Never mind. 
Now I remember: Gilbert (helps in the garden) turned up with a replacement fence panel (thanks Storm Bert). We discovered it was a 2 person job to get it sorted so that took a little while (I vetoed cutting 2 branches off my rather lovely magnolia (which has featured here more than once)). Then I rather got the cutting back/ pruning (no expertise here) bug and got out the secateurs and loppers and set to for a couple of hours. All I can say is that the garden bin is very full of leaves (Bert again) and pruned bits and pieces. 

It's all a bit of a blur after that but I am sure a cuppa or 2 was needed!
