Soup kitchen

..we are heading off for a few days so I cooked up all the vegetables that were getting a bit old. The soup was really yummy for lunch and there is plenty for the freezer. 

This afternoon we went to our son’s place for afternoon tea. We don’t see them much as they are so busy all the time. Looks like another dog minding job is coming up while they go to the beach for a few nights. 

We had over 132 mm with the rain. The garden is soggy. A nice start to summer.
