Norwich

Took the train up to Norwich this morning with the plan to do some shopping before meeting friends for a late lunch and later a lamplit underground tour. The city was heaving with people Christmas shopping, making the shopping element not fun but we did enjoy catching up with our friends and great food at the Belgian Monk.
Stayed over in the city centre Premier Inn (all the nice hotels being sold out). First they checked us in to an uncleared room, but when We returned they had left us a welcome gift of a mini wine and chocolates. Amazing first for a Premier Inn.
