it began slowly - then burst into stripes - of color in one - corner over the mountains - sort of bunched in - the clouds stretching forth - tendrils of color in reds - orange and yellow - and almost before i could blink - it began to dissipate - as though it had never - been there at all

but such is the mystery - of mountain sunsets however - when abba hand paints them - for us to enjoy is - there any doubt regardless - of their length, it will be…
