Printing Day
Nine members of Camera Club attended a Permajet printing workshop at Smethwick today. I was the one of the drivers which was interesting, on the way up we only took a wrong turn within 200 yards of the venue, it was a different story on the way back where I had several extra “sat nav” inputs which wasn’t too helpful with five lanes of traffic on a roundabout in the dark, hence we navigated the island twice & weaved from lane to lane, I was only hooted at once! We got home safely in the end.
The morning session covered monitor calibration, paper profiles, etc then after lunch we looked at paper options & had the chance to choose two papers to have our own image printed on. It was interesting to see the difference paper choice can make & of course we all ended up buying a box (or more) of discounted paper.
It was a good day & I would recommend attending one of their workshops if they hold one near you.
