Edinburgh

I was in Edinburgh this afternoon/evening for an annual catch-up with some former colleagues.
A great day, as always.

Main photo taken this evening on the way back to the train station: the Scott Monument (or Thunderbird 3 if you’re of a particular generation), with the Star Flyer ride beside.

Extra: The Dome earlier in the day, resplendent in its Christmas finery.
If you look closely (top left, just past the top of the column on the left) you can see where they were pumping out fake snow to fall on the street below - a bit disconcerting as it was 12 degrees.
