Library tree decorations

My colleague came to show me the tree decorations she has been making for our Library Christmas tree. She has been super creative and made the decorations from book and DVD covers of material we have in stock.

It sparked the usual discussion as to whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie or not - I am firmly in the yes camp!  I always remember introducing Leo to that one Christmas and then regretting it a bit as he went around repeating ‘Yippee-ki-yay MotherF*****’! at every opportunity.

It was a colleague’s birthday so we went for a nice coffee and then I enjoyed the lovely rock cakes he had brought in. I had forgotten how nice those are - haven’t had one for years!  I may well have to whip up a batch over the Christmas break.  I am on the countdown - can’t wait to finish.
