Shifting Shades Of Play, Ferryfields, Aylesford
Today my dodgy sprained ankle was still giving me trouble again so I had to watch my brother heading out on an early morning run whilst I sat inside nursing my uncooperative joint.
We were still determined to get out later as it was another sparkling winter's day and I somehow managed a very slow walk/shuffle back down to our newly re-opened village local, The Chequers, for a spot of lunch and in my case, may I very humbly add, a well deserved pint.
On the return journey we stopped off at one of our local recreation grounds, Ferryfields, to try and get our images for today. The shifting afternoon light was playing some very diverting shadows across the deserted basketball/five-a-side football/tennis courts and I just decided I wanted to capture the different shades of light and shadow in mono. Unfortunately, my brother couldn't find another image that he was happy to add to our joint journal on this occasion so I'm 'flying solo' for today's blip entry.
