The main shows Monthooly Doo'cot - built by Lord Garden of Troup to mark his acquisition of the Pitsligo Estate, following the Jacobite  Rising of 1745. Alexander 4th Lord Forbes of Pitsligo was attainted for his loyalty to the cause and forfeited his lands.

The extra shows a milestone marking a distance of 5 miles from Fraserburgh on the old 'coach road' to Banff, now a quiet back road.
