Young Geographers at the RGS-IBG

A lovely way to end the week. Train from Downham to King's Cross. Grabbed a pasty and then to Knightsbridge, and walked through the Rutland Estate - a lovely way to get to the RGS. Coffee and chat to a new RGS colleague, and then the winners and their parents of the Young Geographer of the Year award. I was there to hand out the awards and certificates. A lovely morning and then back after lunch. Roadworks I mentioned meant a detour via Ten Mile Bank which is stupidly bumpy and awful as a Fenland road. Settled in to read and get ready for a relaxing weekend.
