An entirely choir-focussed day: setting up a WhatsApp group (what a faff that is!) for the 25 of us who'll be hosting and looking after visitors from the Grenoble choir next week; making sure hosts have all the information they need about meals to provide, activities and meeting guests from the bus; trying to sort out why the visitors' booked bus tickets from the airport to Oxford don't match the bus timetable; and liaising with the nearby pub which will host our post-concert celebration because everyone has to book using their booking system and an awful lot of people can't. The problems lie on both sides and I'm now just booking them in myself and will get people to pay me later. Thank goodness for credit cards.

This evening, in the interests of community links, some of us sang carols in that pub. In between times I have been chasing text and researching images for our concert programme and doing the layout. It's all quite like being back at work.
