Back to civilisation

Been a long time since my last entry although a lot has happened! We celebrated my mum and dad's 25th wedding anniversary and I am now back in Finland (and had a nice free upgrade to business class on my flight thanks to Finnair!).

I spent just over a week near Imatra, a town on the Russian border at a traditional Finnish summer cottage (kesämökki) and came back to Helsinki today (had to take the girls with me on the train and negotiate dinner, I won't lie I was slightly terrified at first but they were wonderfully behaved).

Not an interesting point but I have to say that I am very proud of myself for ordering a subway sandwich using only Finnish!
