The perils of trying to eat lunch on the beach in Rhyl in November, particularly when there is no-one else around to pester…

I left the gulls to my crumbs and headed to see my Mum for her 94th birthday celebration. It was good to spend a couple of hours in her company along with family.

It was the first time I’d done there and back to Wales in a single day for a long time. Thankfully the trains behaved.
