Wood Carvings
Tittle Tattle Teashop this morning. Discussion group afterwards was about the very current Assisted Dying Bill. I'm on the fence really as I feel the rules will have to be very stringent to protect vulnerable people, and as we discussed, it will put a greater burden than ever on health services, judges and courts. Saw this afternoon that the bill had gone through, but noticed our local MP had voted "no". Off to town for a bit more shopping, and as it was fine I decided to have a short walk first. Having seen the new wood carving in Myrtle Park blipped recently by Wendles56 and Jeanneb53, I wandered down that way for a look. Impressive carving, so took photos of each side, and then the same of the old carving across the pathway (extras). I wandered back through the streets and called at the supermarket. Came out just in time for the bus home. Sorted a few things out at home and then it was out again to watch Harden Players perform Blackadder 2. Lots of fellow community choir singers in the audience. Very bawdy and full of innuendoes, and best not to mention the turnip, haha! Quick drink in the local on the way up the hill for home. A full on but good day. Off to Bingley again tomorrow to sing at the Christmas lights switch on.
