Friday: Windsor
I worked from home today which was definitely a more satisfying experience. I have spent much of my time in the office this week sat in a chair covered in post-it notes, admonishing me not to adjust the height of the chair. It was far too low for me, leaving the tip of my nose resting on the desk, but the post-it notes struck a chord of fear in me, so that’s how I stayed. I don’t have these issues at home.
K and I went to Windsor this evening to meet F&B who are down from Altrincham. It was a lovely convivial evening in an excellent restaurant. It’s so nice to be able to do these things.
We started off in a nearby pub beforehand and, on the way out, I wished the person clearing our table a merry Christmas. She immediately asked me if I was from Finland. Apparently, Finns are very good at wishing people merry Christmas. SaraEvans - perhaps you can confirm?
