Festive Otto
I had accrued excess work hours and been unable to schedule time off to reduce to below the end of month 'cut off' so a very short work day was required.
Al wanted to meet in Edon, citing many reasons and laughing at my weird aversion to driving to Kelvedon.
I figured that it could be that I don't like drivingvthrough Tiptree and decided to take another route, out to Hatfield Peveral and then back along the A12. It was going well until I went to overtake what I thought were parked cars in the High Street, only to find they were queued at temporary 4 way lights. I had to 'escape' into a coned off area. Scary and worrying in equal measure.
Edon was lovely and I enjoyed a massive almond pastry. It was sold as a croissant but was unlike any I've ever eaten. The time went very quickly. Otto was a bit restless to begin with but settled down after a treat.
