Donkeys !!

A farm close to where we lived, always had an old grey donkey in a field. When possible, we always took a detour home so that we could pass the donkey.

Sadly, a few months ago the donkey passed away. There were many bunches of flowers, and pictures. Turns out that everyone loved the donkey, she was a bit of a minor celebrity.

The field stood empty for a month or so, but now there are two donkeys and a small Shetland pony and her foal. Every time we've passed by, there have always been people stood by the wall, making a fuss if them and giving them a carrot or two.

Well, as we came home from shopping today, as there was no one else there, we stopped off to say hello and give them a carrot. As you can see, they're very friendly !
