Lobster trap tree

The lobster trap trees are being set up. This one is at the boardwalk in Eastern Passage.

It was windy today but we decided to work and finish off the last job. I could likely haul another truck load of leaves off the property, but it is difficult to get a day that is not windy at this time of year. Plus the leaves were wet from all the rain we had last night. Areas along the fence, the grass was long, which made it difficult to rake the leaves. Going to have to teach this customer to use the whipper snipper next year.

I am looking forward to some downtime so I can get things organized here at home. 

I talked to the owner this morning, she is coming in tomorrow afternoon to take up some floor boards in the attic. The existing insulation is being removed next week and then she is having new spray foam insulation put in next Friday. They prefer to have people and pets out of the house while they are doing it. They told her that the basement apartment will be fine. So rather than finding a hotel that accepts cats she told me to bring the cats down to her apartment and that I could stay down there. She will take her dog and stay at a friends place.

The owner has a Chihuahua, and Peaches spotted it outside for the first time this morning. She was quite interested in watching it. It will be interesting to watch her leave her scent on everything downstairs next weekend.
