Back o' Skiddaw
At long last I felt up to a relatively gentle Fell walk today, so we drove round the back of Skiddaw and managed Longlands Fell, Brae Fell, Little Sca Fell, Great Sca Fell and Meal Fell. It was very cold - especially on the tops, where the wind was blowing, but it felt so good to be out and walking again.
Four Wainwrights, but nothing too high or too steep. Felt great, but tired at the end of it. A little overcaast at first, but the sky did clear towards the end of the walk.
On the way home we saw this young(?) male kestrel fly into the tree by the side of the car. I carefully got out of the car and managed to get a shot - he was a bit windblown.
