Fair city

A lovely day in Perth in the company of Tweedy.  We had arranged to meet at the museum and I messaged her to let her know I'd be a few minutes late and then arrived to find a most welcome coffee on its way.

We then headed over to sales desk to ask about tickets to Stone of Destiny, which is free but ticketed, and were told we could walk straight in.  It is my third visit and as with previous ones I was impressed by how well it was down. We then wandered around and  followed our visit with lunch in a local cafe.  A future visit to the new Gallery is in the pipeline.

On my down I managed to but tickets for An Evening With Mary Chapin Carpenter, Julie Fowlis & Karine Polwart which had gone on sale at 10.00 and were selling fast. Looking forward to seeing three of my favourite singers on stage together in March.

Back at the bus station I meet C&A who had been on same bus down.  The bus tracker indicated a 45 min delay which got longer and longer.  We were on the verge of getting a bus to Broxden as more buses depart from there when the bus arrived 20 mins late. Once again the Citylink Tracker system was given the wrong information - I reckon the tracker simply stopped working in Dunfermline.  Grrr.
