Back to the ER

Another day at the ER. It took us until noon just to get Eric cleaned up and into the car. We took our time, used the walker and a cane, and he hopped his way out the back door, across the yard, and into the car. Then it was a drive across town, and wait, wait, wait, ending with a drive home in the dark. At least it wasn’t raining.
The upshot is that the hematoma had gotten quite a bit bigger, I mean like more than 30%, so they told him to stop the blood thinners after they only cut back on them the first time we sought help. Well, you’d think that quitting blood-thinners when you are bleeding would be  a no-brainer, but not really; all the conditions, the side-effects, the repercussions of changing meds gives them a bit of a pause. Still, no surgery or needles to drain the thing, the plan is for the body to reabsorb the blood. Bloody hell.
