There are three or four roses, bravely hanging on after the recent frosts, and not much else in the garden. It's looking sad and untidy now! A milder day though, with plenty of sun on my walk to the surgery for a BP and pulse check, due to a new medication.  All good. Book group this afternoon, and a very lively discussion...New book Brooklyn, which fact most of us have read, or seen the film. I saw my new neighbour again who is very sociable and wanted a chat about general things.  He seems a very keen gardener too, with big plans for his ! We will see. ....
