Looking home
It was frosty and cold this morning but I went for a walk around the fields. It’s a bit treacherous underfoot in places and I could hear water running through the brook from quite a way away.
I didn’t meet a soul but I did hear a flock of fieldfare and saw them take off.
Shopping delivered and put away and then I walked down the road to post a card to my great niece, Met Eric (90) on his way back up the road so stopped for a natter and then bumped into a lady called Rachel and her dog Karly heading the other way. We stopped to chat and she showed me a couple of lovely pictures my photography friend had taken of her dog when we were out in the summer.
JJ is rather shattered after playing twenty holes of golf and has gone up for a bath. He’ll no doubt fall asleep. If I did that I’d drown.
I see the Assisted Dying bill has been passed, but has a long way to go before it becomes law, if at all. I have mixed feelings but would probably have voted against it this time, although it is a decision I would like to make for myself.
