National Museum of the Marine Corps

Designed to evoke the image of Joe Rosenthal's Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima, the National Museum of the Marine Corps is built adjacent to the Quantico Marine Base south of Washington, DC. It creates a very impressive and dramatic image off Interstate 95, especially during in the early evening light.
