Old Man's Beard
I had work today so I was up bright and early (early, anyway..). It was pretty chilly out there this morning but I had plenty of layers on and wasn't cold at all on the van. It's the last weekend of the month so it was very busy, even chaotic at times. The time soon passed though...
After work I had a walk to Tesco to get something easy for my tea. I took a couple of photos in Tesco, and on the way home I took this one of the Old Man's Beard plant. It's a type of Clematis, also known as Traveler's Joy. This apparently is not a native plant, imported from Europe and western Asia and it spreads aggressively. It can grow up to 100ft long and can totally blanket other trees and plants.
I'm glad to be home now!
