Hellebore Buds

A morning of doing essential jobs that have been left during the week as this is the only day we have not been out.
 
Today’s picture is of some of the first Hellebore buds that have appeared in the garden. These are my second favourite flower; snowdrops always come first.
 
The temperature at noon today was seven degrees Celsius.  Another sharp frost this morning, but the sun shone longer and stronger today.
