Let Them eat Cake

One of eldest's friends turns 23 in the next few days and it seems a vegan birthday cake is in the works.

I know not of the recipe (she has promised to teach me how-to some day soon) but after sampling the bits she shaved off before stacking them together, well, it tasted very very nice!
