Tree felling

We've waited a long time for the tree surgeons to come to the hen guardian's house, but today was the day.  I had to leave home at 7:30 to get to her house in time for the start of the work. The guys worked steadily all day, but they'll be back tomorrow to continue and possibly finish.  
We were a bit worried about what the chickens would make of the noise of chainsaws, but they didn't seem to be bothered.
