Newbolds in the Marketplace
Shepshed's marketplace is looking very sprightly with a range of Christmas lights. Several of the properties around the square are owned by the Newbold family whose shop is on one side with three stars on the roof and a charming toy roundabout in the window. The do quality bespoke flooring and furniture.
A day of not doing very much except for going out just after dark to take these photos. I should have used a tripod.
The camera has got something wrong with it and frequently produces totally dark exposures. If I do something equivalent to hitting it with a hammer it bucks its ideas up and behaves.
The Christmas tree in one corner of the square looks lovely with gold and silver twinkling lights.
