Leave A Light On
Didn’t exactly rush to get up this morning so it was gone 11 by the time we set off for Chester. Journey down was trouble free, but quite boring. Checked my sister’s house and picked up the post before taking time out for lunch.
There was a possibility of doing a quiz tonight, but an exchange of messages during lunch put paid to that idea as we couldn’t get anybody else interested.
Went to visit mum in the home and found my aunty was there as well. She had said she’d try to get there this week but didn’t know what day. Mum was a little overwhelmed by so many people there at the same time and we left after half an hour so she could carry on chatting to her sister, who she doesn’t see as often as us.
Journey home was as trouble free - and boring - as this morning, and it was quite dark by the time we got home. No photos taken during the day but, as I arrived back at the house, I noticed it must have been sunny enough while we were away to power up the solar light at the top of the drive.
It needed me to hold the camera steady for three seconds to get the image. Not easy when you’re crouched, shivering on the pavement! After several blurry attempts, this one actually came out ok. And it was too cold by then to look for something else to photograph!
