Peekaboo or Peepo?

A busy day of jobs before we go away for a few days so no chance of taking any photos. So its another image of granddaughter 4.

On a FaceTime call with my son and granddaughter no 4 this morning the question in my title came up. Im sure my son thought his parents were showing early signs of dementia when we said ‘peepo’ and he said there was no such thing. It was ‘peekaboo’.

We pointed out that his version was imported and that we had always used ‘Peepo’ with him and his sister when they were toddlers. He was not convinced. After the call I went onto the web and found a copy of Peepo by Janet and Allan Ahlberg. I sent him the image. Whilst I was sending him our proof he found a post on the Web where the poster was asking the very same question because they were worried about their parents.
