At the risk of depriving a prepper or gun enthusiast of somewhere to keep their ammunition or tactical cereal bars, I gave up on official bicycle-specific saddlebags and instead bought a webbing-festooned zippy pouch thing with a wide enough opening for my coiled cable lock, which required only an hour's work to attach the mount for the under-saddle click-fix bracket then a few extra minutes to use some of the criss-crossed webbing bits to cinch in one end to make way for my legs. It waggles significantly less than the previous bag, which will hopefully reduce the rate at which it disintegrates.
