Basil

Routine blood tests for my husband this morning followed by a tooth extraction during the late morning. 
 
Today’s picture is of Basil, our resident Common Buzzard, who often visits the garden. It was very windy and he was being blown about quite a lot. The extra shows him trying to stay on the branch and also him flying away; neither are very focused, but it does show how windy it was.
 
The temperature at noon today was five degrees Celsius; it also rained on and off all day.
