DRIVE PAST

Woke up to a hard frost this morning and very cold.  We left home about 9.30 to get to Kendal Hospital for my mammogram.

No problems getting through Kendal at all, all the roads were clear and good.  Takes a while to pay for parking because so many people now can only pay by phone and for some reason that always takes much longer.  I prefer to pay by cash it is so much quicker and easier - but them I old fashioned.

Anyway we got there no problems, arriving about 20 minutes earlier than needed.  No problems at all as far as we can tell for now.  I was seen a little earlier and it only took 10 minutes.  This Nurse was really good so that's a huge help.

We  stayed for a coffee and then decided to go to Beetham's for a browse and coffee.  Excuse the photo but it was a drive past one as it was taken just as we were approaching Sizergh Barn on the A591.  If I'd had my walking shoes with me we could have stopped there and had a walk in the woods, but will save that for another time.

Boy was it busy.  I did try to have a look around but it was just that bit too busy for me.  My fault, for some reason as I get older I find too many people around really phases me out - now why is that??  Still no worries as there was nothing we had to do, it was just for a browse.

Hubby got a couple of things he needed and we stopped for a light lunch, then just came home.  All frost now having gone but still feeling very cold.

That's it from me for today, do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow
