Intra Mural, Abandoned ...

We visited Colmars 'intra mural', meaning that part of Colmars inside the walls. Because of the full sunshiny day the light was too hard to make pictures. We decided to do that after celebrating M's birthday with a dinner in the evening.

Coming back in the evening we were surprised how abandoned the streets were inside the walls. Only in front of some bars and/or restaurants on the small squares you saw people, but in the narrow streets the life in the evening seemed to be lived inside the houses.

On the picture you see the abandoned Rue Saint Martin, just after nine o'clock pm; an almost weird view after the overcrowded streets by day.

Weather report: you won't be surprised ... Beautiful day with 33°C on the thermometer in the afternoon ... ;)
