Castle Douglas Gala Day. Playing on a lorry in 26 degrees. Playing on the main stage for another half hour sweaty set. Fantastic! You have to be pretty fit to be a Samba Sister.

Afterwards I walked around the Gala field looking at all the things people do for fun. This ride was very popular.

Just this morning, I had read an article in the Guardian about the way that porngraphic images are becoming mainstream. While these pictures may not be considered porn by some people, do they really enhance the thrill of the fairground ride?
