A cold frosty morning.
The Feast Day of St Catherine Laboure. Born 2nd May1806. Died 31st December 1876.
Patron saint of The miraculous medal, the infirm, the elderly.
Also, Our Lady of Kibeho. Africa.
Happy Thanksgiving Day. There is always something wonderful to be thankful for each new day.
I wear a Miraculous Medal because I love and respect Mother Mary and in a world where there is much spiritual darkness, I feel the love and grace of Mother Mary is a good blessing. Google the history of the medal if you feel called to.
Here in Rishton Blackburn it is 3c but feels like 0c according to the Google forecast. It is cold, bright and very sunny. The bird bath water was thickly iced and I unfroze it with a hot kettle of water. Many birds came to eat the seeds and mealworms.
I wore four light layers to go out and take frosty photos. My fingers were freezing as I forgot to take my fingerless wristies because they were in another bag.
Even the cats have been reluctant to spend much time in the garden.
My photo of the frost coated nettle leaves was taken at about 10am. There are many frosty roofs in our Close and cars with frosted windscreens.
I hope you have a good Thursday and keep warm.
I ate my first mince pie and it was lovely. Holly our cat is purring contentedly in her cat bed.
Thank you for visiting my site today, blip friends.
