Happy Thanksgiving

This is Tuesday's photo...I am a day late to post it. Monday evening Ellie decided to make a "Happy Thanksgiving" banner to hang on the wall, quickly designing it, drawing it, and coloring it. I think she did a great job!

Ellie spent the night Monday night because she wanted me to take her to her teacher conference on Tuesday. Of course, her teachers showed me that Ellie's work was at or above grade level and that she was a good helper in the classroom, always ready and willing to help another struggling student. Her only concern was that Ellie struggles sometimes with anxiousness, but she was impressed that Ellie recognizes how she feels and can ask her teacher for time to relax in the quiet corner. 

To those who celebrate Thanksgiving as a time of gratitude, I hope you find many things to be thankful for.
