Purple

I am grateful for November. It is during November that purple flowers bloom. We have the jacaranda, agapanthus, some flowers I haven't yet identified and the artichoke. I like the colour purple, particularly when teamed with green. This macro view of the blooming artichoke also reveals tiny white tips of the stamens. So we have green, white and violet, a wonderful colour combination, simultaneously soothing and a call to action.
