Ducks on the pond

To Inverleith to check on the swans; two as usual; about 5 tufted ducks. Clear cool morning, just enough wind for a few ripples on the pond. Back by the Botanics on the South side paths. Watched two gulls pattering on the grass by the East gate; they put up several worms. 

Out again in the evening to a talk at the Baths; there are various groups for members who want social interaction as well as exercise.
