Beer Tower

Never seen or heard of such a thing!  Unusually we dropped in at a lakefront pub.  There were four young men drinking from this ‘tower’.  This was their second and they told us what it was called and that it held three litres.  We are so out of touch!  Is this an update on a jug of beer?
