Childhood home

As I had no car today I didn’t have the boys so joined Mr C who took his uncle to Lidls for some Christmas shopping.

Mr Cs uncle lives in the same road that I lived in until I was 10.  We lived in the ground floor maisonette and the front windows were by bedroom.  A retired, lovely couple lived above us who we always called them Mr & Mrs Campbell and between them and my mum, they took great pride in keeping their front step polished and clean.  There was also a house next to us but after we moved to a house, the house was knocked down to make way for entrance into a new estate.

We picked up my car on the way home.  It needs new glow plugs that he has had to order so it means the car needs to go back next week.
