The Wednesday Market
Another early start, though not as early as yesterday. I had to jump to and collect Mr HB from our garage after he had dropped his car off for them to sort out one or two niggling problems on an old car: probably expensive.
As we were out early we went for breakfast at Mr HB's DinL's cafe, and after Cheese and mushroom Shropshire oatcakes and warming mugs of coffee we headed off for a trawl through our Wednesday market and came away with lovely fresh fruit & veg, a 2025 diary for me from Bernado's, a bottle brush from the kitchen stall, Christmas cards from various Charity Stalls and lots of friends to talk too, and finally a visit to our lovely Library. They have a magnificent Christmas tree up already? Beautifully decorated too with some simple white lights and lots of Origami Stars of different sizes and made out of different papers by one of the talented Librarians. I loved them and my afternoon was totally occupied by trying to create some.
By 6pm I had only mastered 1.*
* My rough attempt at a paper Origami paper Star.
NB: Mr HB's car is still in the garage. New parts not available for an old car? Second hand ones on order.
