Wintering
We had over four centimetres of rain last night so by the morning things outside were looking rather soggy. The dampness and a northerly wind made it feel distinctly chilly.
At the yacht basin the hards are now filled with boats hauled out for winter. This long mast stowed away for safe keeping looked particularly impressive. We could see how pieces of wood had been cut and joined together to increase its strength.
Back at home Andy had made sausage rolls which I felt obliged to sample for quality control purposes. We continued the theme by having spaghetti with meat balls for dinner.
