Fire side

Day started very wet and windy so we decided to stay in. Hetty and I did the morning walk, not far and wellies required.
Sat and read all morning, bliss. After lunch it dried up so we did an interesting walk from the same starting point as yesterday but opposite direction. Woodland mostly, having crossed some fields and through the village. Spotted another Landmark property through the woods but sign forbid us to walk past.
Tree down across the path was fun climbing through.
So cosy this evening with the log burner on. So started and ended the day in the same position but room felt very different.
