Nest

The decorators noticed wasps going into a gap in some mortar so I thought I had a wasps nest in the cavity wall. However when putting away some paint in the shed below, I noticed the nest on a high shelf. The pest control people have been and injected wasp-killing powder so they should be gone in a day or two (they are not very pleased at the moment). The nest stays though which I am glad about as it's so beautiful. I've had a dull grey one in a tree before but not a stripy one like this.
